Play to Create
A New Approach to Sketching Wireframes
Being adults, we tend to forget that the methods that we used to explore objects and ideas back in our childhood, still apply today. This book is an attempt to use the element of ‘play’ from our childhood to sketch wireframes like never before.

Why?
A lot of people talking about the importance of sketching when designing or problem-solving, yet it seems that very few people actually sketch. It seems easier to move directly to a screen, but when you work on paper you tend to take more risks and your sketching is much more efficient. Taking more risks and exploring is something which is core to how kids play. They are care-free and do not think twice before taking a step. It makes them build up on the things they did before to do something new. Based on this, my project revolves around the idea of giving more room for exploration and experimentation while sketching wireframes. The actual process doesn’t allow you to play with details and improvise on the way. My modified method provides the designer (especially a newcomer) to experiment enough and provides a smooth transition from paper to a screen. It allows the designer to approach the same idea from a lot of different perspectives just like kids. It contains instructions which just provide an outline to the process and doesn’t push the designer to approach it from only way.
The book also contains references and the processes that can be followed beyond the book. Link to the entire content of the book - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eS5waeYYcVVEcarT3uDvjBVlrrUo8Qge/view?usp=sharing
